We're happy to inform you that we're going to play at the ultimate hippie festival Burg Herzberg Festival (15-18 july) in Fulda, Germany. Bands like Hawkwind and Jeff Beck will be performing as well. More european shows will be added around that period.

The release party the 18th was a blast, thanks to everybody who attended the show and made it such a special night. It means alot.
We are also glad to introduce our new keyboard player Klas Holmgren, for those who have'nt already noticed. When Nicklas Åhlund left the band we did'nt know quite what to do, but then Klas showed up with his black Hammond B3 and with his heavy riffing shook us to the core. We asked him if he wanted to join the band, and the rest is as they say history.

BLACK BONZO ANNOUNCES NEW STUDIO ALBUM: GUILLOTINE DRAMA
The new album in stores September 18, 2009.
SKELLEFTEÅ. Guillotine Drama is the third effort from the Swedish rockers Black Bonzo. The bands earlier albums have recieved top rewievs from rock magazines such as Classic Rock Magazine and Record Collector.
Guillotine Drama was recorded in Black Bonzo’s studio, Rastapopolus, which was a needed development that gave the band the opportunity to explore new sounds and push their musical boundaries. In december 2008 the album was mixed and mastered at Tonteknik by Magnus Lindberg.
”Our new album is heavier, slightly more guitar based and straight forward than the previous albums, but at the same time we’ve kept our own unique sound during the transformation”, says drummer Mike Israel.
After the successful albums Black Bonzo/Lady Of The Light and Sound Of The Apocalypse, fans from Brazil and Japan to Portugal and USA now is given Black Bonzo’s best album so far.
